If you want something low-cost and don't need speed or durability, the Bescor is probably okay.
Ultimately we opted for a VidPro motorized pan/tilt device that cost more. Plus the plastic housing doesn't appear very durable. The remote control isn't as handy as the joystick controls on competitive models, so combining pans and tilts to follow action is awkward at best. We found that the Bescor is not fast enough. The device needs to be able to track action as it moves up and down the playing area. We tested the Bescor Pan & Tilt Head for use during live sports.
